Simply Wonderful What a fantastic surprise it was going to Pacific Wave. The food is center stage but the service was terrific as well.
Although this may be the best sushi I've ever had this place is all about fine cuisine. Start with a signature "Pacific Dream" and then head straight for a spinich salad served in its own warm, crisp parmasan cheese bowl. It's incredible! We had a fish special with Mongchong and a lobster fondue sauce along with a "game special"...Buffalo strip. Who does fresh GAME specials??? This place is over the top as everything is homemade. Even the Kona and Macadamia Ice creams are made from scratch. You just can't find any place like this. By the way, did I mention the wine list? If you haven't been to Pacific Wave you need to. We loved every minute of gem on Second Street South, a couple blocks south of Bay Walk. WONDERFUL!!!
