Imagine Charter School Reviews

I am a happy parent at Imagine - My daughter is in her second year (preK & Kindergarden) and her teachers have been wonderful and engaging. She is thriving and her sister is soon to join her there in the fall. The 'F' grade is due to FL ratings system that is not fair to a 1st year school, as you cannot chart growth when you do not have numbers from the previous year to grow from. WIth that being said I am proud to be a part of a school that can and is creating a wonderful learning environment for my child.

Having been in other Elementary Schools in St. Petersburg our favorite is Imagine and we plan on being there a long time!! My children are thriving. The teachers are all VERY committed to making this school one of the best ever. More parent involvement would help, but the parents at Imagine are much more involved than the 3 schools I personally know about. They are currently adding a bunch of wonderful technology upgrades and as a PTO member I am personally working with the teachers to try and figure out how to get art and music in the school.

I am a very happy parent at this school. We received a letter from the principal explaining that the F grade our school received was in large part due to our school being in its first year and the way FL grades first year schools. I can say we have been very pleased with our daughter's teachers and the education she has received. She was a third grade student last year and is going into fourth. Teachers are very warm and friendly and I always felt invited and welcome into the classroom. My only complaint is that there is no Art or Music at this school, or else I would have given it 5 stars. Maybe in the future.
