There’s plenty of art in and around “St Pete”. The Downtown Arts Association sponsors
art walks each month of the downtown galleries such as Salt Creek Artworks, Glass Canvas Gallery, the P. Buckley Moss Gallery, Florida Craftsmen Gallery, and the Arts Center of St. Petersburg.

The Museum of Fine Arts offers lectures, tours, classes, films and performing arts events. The Asian Family and Community Empowerment Center, the
Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, and the Salvador Dalí Museum also have excellent cultural exhibits, visiting and permanent. The Palladium Theatre, formerly the 1925 First Church of Christ Scientist, the 2000-seat Mahaffey Theater, and the American Stage offer musicals, dance productions and the works of Shakespeare.
