Start exploring the city with a panoramic city tour and head Peterhof with a short subway ride on your way. Walk in the Lower Park while your guide explains how the unique system of fountains works and aids you in understanding the allegorical language of sculpture. Later, set off for another magnificent summer residence, where you will visit  Catherine's Palace.  Marvel at the gem of the Palace, the legendary Amber Room, often acknowledged as the 8th wonder of the world. Once back to St Petersburg, enjoy a walking tour on Nevsky Prospect, time for shopping and visiting Eliseevs Food Hall. You will have free time to have a dinner before you take an  evening canal cruise. You will see the magnificent views of the Venice of the North and immerse in its atmosphere.

On the second day, you will continue the city tour and visit the birthplace of the city  St Peter & Paul Fortress. The next activity is an excursion to  the Hermitage Museum with skip-the-line entry. Your professional guide will prove invaluable in navigating nearly 1000 rooms in five historic buildings, including the former  Winter Palace. After a break for lunch, enjoy a visit inside the Church of our Savior on Spilled Blood, a symbol of St Petersburg, and observe this unique representative of Russian art. Your next stop will be St. Isaac's Cathedral, the biggest Orthodox cathedral in Russia.

Please note, at the time of booking each cruise ship passenger is required to provide his passport data in order to obtain the tour ticket, which allows entering Russia visa-free. The order of the sightseeing may change depending on days of the week, museum opening hours, and traffic.
