Description

The tour includes all the must sees and features the city culture including  all the most requested inside visits in St Petersburg and its surroundings: Hermitage/Winter Palace, Peter an Paul Fortress, Church on Spilled Blood, Catherine Palace/Amber Room, Imperial Park, Peterhof Fountain Park, Metro, canal and Neva River cruise, and more. 3-hour extension to see the city after the tour will let you have a citizen view of the every day life of St Petersburg. The optional Faberge museum visit will leave an unforgettable memory of the World's largest collection of works by Faberge at the Shuvalov Palace.  The tour is limited to a maximum of 15 group members.

Day 1:
8:00amYour private fully licensed guide and professional driver of a comfortable air conditioned vehicle will greet you at passport immigration control next to your ship.
You will be taken for a CITY OVERVIEW TOUR. You will be able to see and take pictures of the most famous and beautiful sights of St. Petersburg center, get acquainted with the history of the city and the Romanov family.
Then set off for a JOURNEY TO PUSHKIN (TZARSKOE SELO) - one of St. Petersburg's suburbs within an hour drive from the city center. You will visit former Tsars' summer residence - Catherine's Palace including the famous Amber Room - the 8th "wonder" of the World and Catherine's Park.
Have free time to have lunch in one of the local cafes (included for the groups more than 8 people).
PETERHOF TOUR - Another summer residence of Russian emperors. You will see the Upper Garden which resembles Versailles in its planning and, of course, the Lower Park with its incomparable Fountains.
On the way back to St. Petersburg you will have a chance to see the "not so touristy" St. Petersburg and to have a short METRO TRIP the interiors recall palaces not subways.
5:00pm Return to the ship.
At 5:30pm, choose to return to your ship or use your 3-hour optional extension to explore the city, or sign on for optional evening activities (available for an extra fee), including

  • the Faberge Museum
  • Russian ballet
  • a guided walking tour in the city center ( it could be stop for souvenirs, short walking tour of the center or stop at a city café)
  • Folcklore Show
Day 2:

PRIVATE CANAL CRUISE along rivers and canals of the "Venice of the North".
Visit to the PETER and PAUL FORTRESS - one of the few remaining fortresses of the 18th century, the burial place of Russian emperors.
Enjoy the beauty of SAVIOR ON THE SPILT BLOOD CATHEDRAL, which startles visitors with its mighty size, multicoloured "onion" domes.
Have free time to have lunch in one of the local cafes (own expense).
Visit the HERMITAGE MUSEUM – Includes the 4 buildings of this ensemble: the Winter Palace, the small Hermitage, the New Hermitage, and the Old Hermitage. Enjoy art collections with over three million works of art,  the spectacular state and private rooms.
